Hello there, i need a software, freeware is better, that can translate from one database type to another, someone knows any?

if so try zipgenuis 6 thats the most powerfull one..
its freeware and extract and zips realy anything..also 7z files

what i need is a software that can translate a .DBF file into another kind of database, i found one that makes it into .TXT and .DOC and other stuff, i´ll find out what the other program uses and then edit this post.

DBF Viewer?

Export the data into a common format like CSV. Pretty much all database software can import CSV. Probably will take a lot of work to get it into the right tables, but...

the layout for the new database will be given to me, the new format will be sql.

SQL Server?

SQL Server has its onw utilities for importing and exporting to many differrent databases.
