Crashes when game starts

My computer specs are
P3 933
256 mb of ram
ati readon 7200
Aopen ax3sp pro
WHat happens is i load the rom it starts up fine there it just crashes eather me computer restarts or my monitor flickers and it gets all blurry any help would be greatley appricated

Verify tour ROM. It's probably not valid. Either verify it with goodn64 or download a whole new rom. Make sure it has [!] in it! Thats how you usually know when the ROM is valid.

no.. this is a faulty computer. you don't state OS, but its an OS/driver/hardware issue. can't say much more, suggest you get someone who knows lots about PCs to take a look at it.
