Copying Framebuffer to RDRAM

Is there anyway to play with a decent speed using this option? What do I need to upgrade to make it faster?

My system specs:

Intel P4 3.2ghz
ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP (64 mb shared memory)
196 MB RAM (64 MB shared with the video card)

Thanks in Advance.

What the hell do you want to activate this thing for? It's only good for a select few things, and even then its should only be turned on for a brief time. If you're looking for certain framebuffer effects, some are obtainable via Orkin's Direct64 and gln64 plugins using the "Hardware Framebuffer" setting.

Pretends to make sense
To give a more direct answer, no. Copy framebuffer to RDRAM isn't intended to be used during normal gameplay on any rig, no matter how powerful the hardware. Some plugin authors are devoloping hardware framebuffer emulation (Orkin's plugins are pretty much the best right now, as Googol said). Glide64 already has a very good implementation, it just won't work on anything other than a Voodoo 4/5.

So right now I can't play Mario Kart 64 with the live tv (on Luigi's Raceway and Wario's Stadium?) Will Orkin's plugin solve this problem?

Nope, but Glide64 might, if you're hardware is good enough, since it supports the screen at fullspeed on decent hardware.

nope it can't, even with appropriate hardware. With fb notification and Mupen, but the game is only slow when there is tvs
