when i play games it keeps saying i need to insert a controller.
when i go into settings i get the following errors

failed to load C:\PROGRAM FILES\ PROJECT 64\plugin\jabo_Dinput.dll

failed to load C:\PROGRAM FILES\ PROJECT 64\plugin\Nrage_dinput8.dll

failed to load C:\PROGRAM FILES\ PROJECT 64\plugin\jabo_direct3d7.dll

im not sure whats wrong, all the games run fine except no controller.

my specs are a athlon xp 1800 geforce 2 not exactly what kind 512mb ram

That means,u cannot use

jabo_Dinput.dll,
Nrage_dinput.dll and
jabo_direct3d7.dll

Are the plugins present in the plugin folder? Are you running (at least) DirectX 7?

N-Rage's requires version 8.0 at least.

That means,u cannot use

jabo_Dinput.dll,
Nrage_dinput.dll and
jabo_direct3d7.dll

managed to get it working using Jabo's DirectInput6 Plugin, from version 1.1

Then you probably have DirectX6, since that input requires dx6
