Hello. I am new to this and I needed to know what the controls are. I know that Z is A and X is B. But what key is Z and which keys are Yellow < ^ > and down? It would be a real help if someone could tell me.

your post is very vague , i gather you have never used any n64 emulator and dont realise that the controls can be configured to whatever keyboard keys you want, if you dont have a joypad that is, . i think thats what your question was

Yes, just look at (and change if you wish) the input settings! The only emu I know where you cannot change the controls is SMYGB.

How do i change them? I clicked on input settings and it showed me some of the controls. But on the n64 controller, it has a button on the back of it and I can't find which key is that button. Like for goldeneye, I can't fire bullets cuz I can't find that button.

1964 0.8.5 is distributed with a default plugin which has a limited number of keys available and cannot be configured. You will want to download and configure a different input plugin from here:

To install, put the .dll file into the plugin folder. Then you can select it from "Change Plugins" under the Plugins menu.
