Controller not working

Hi all,

First off all i'm from Holland so my English is not that great :|
Well..
Today i installed PJ64 and it works fine except for 1 thing: He doesnt recognize my gamepad!
Im running Vista and I have this gamepad: http://www.thrustmaster.com/product.aspx?ProductID=27&PlatformID=5

When i plug it in i get this message:

Well, i tried diferent USB gates but it wont work and i have the gamepad about 6 years. So i think the manual is lost.

You're more likely to find what you need listed there to get it functioning on your computer which is what it seems like is going wrong, it is in fact no fault of PJ64 since the computer itself isn't seeing it.

OH! and it might not be Vista Compatible given the fact it's 6 yrs old.

because its NOT INSTALLED.

could it be possibly because the drivers aren't installed?

Being 5+ years old, maybe vista support is poor?

Chances are a 6yr old device isn't gonna work with Vista.
So I'd say it's time to invest in a new one

Assuming you use Vista: Forget it. Such an old gamepad will not work. You could try to run a dual-boot with XP, if you don't want to get a newer pad.

Otherwise, just browse ebay or "vraag en aanbod" on tweakers.net . You can get pads there for a few euros.

BTW: Niet veel Nederlanders hier, maar mooi dak er nu eens eentje tegenkom

Try to reinstall the chipset drivers for your motherboard.

Should work fine. Wich vista do you run? I have an extremely old gamepad as well and works fine. Normally u don't need to install drivers, but I'd try to search for one anyway.

BTW: Ben niet van Nederland, maar van België. Vind het ook wel es leuk om een taalgenoot hier tegen te komen.
