computer controllers

i wanna know what's the best computer controller's out there i'm new to this and so far i'm lovin it except controls is hard to get so any help would be greatly appreciated.

'Best' is a subjective term. For myself, a PS2 controller with USB adapter works well.

Personally I have two Xbox 360 controllers and they work flawlessly :nemu:

As far as emulating an N64 controller is concerned, I use a Logitech PS2 lookalike. I use the right analog stick for my C buttons (works very well actually).

Pretty much any console controller is better than keyboard and mouse (unless you're trying to play Goldeneye or Perfect Dark as though it were Counter-Strike). I have ones for PSX, N64 and GCN controllers, as well as a generic PC joystick, and I use whichever fits my mood.

IMHO, nothing will feel right playing N64 games other than the actual controller. I have an adapter that supports PS2 and N64 on it, but the PS2 part is broken. However, the N64 usefulness of it will forever make it a treasure That controller is so unique.

ebay or ztnetstore has them. in ztnetstore they are under pc accessories. the quality is rather hit-and-miss unfortunately
