Anyone have a chance to try this yet? It's a 2D sidescoller using the Half-Life engine. Looks pretty neat from the shots.

What is "Codename: Gordon" ?
It is a wacky Jump 'n Run Game inspired by Half Life 2 and created using Flash for programming and Photoshop for the graphics

It's a sidescroller that you just use the mouse to play. Essentially a java app with a little more bite. It's been out for several months now, and people seem to enjoy it. It's pretty fun. If you own halflife/cs/dod and have steam, it's a free download.

And yes sorry about that, I assumed it used the HL engine as it is being made available over STEAM. I have yet to download it yet, but it looks pretty fun. Sorta Metal Slug style?

Hehe , I've tried this game as soon as it has been released . It's really funny , they should make a sequel

It isn't a java game, it is macromedia flash if i am not mistaken. I didn't particularly care for it, the controls are very clumsy.

I know that. I said it's *essentially* a java game (not knowing it was even flash). Just something that wasn't too complicated, and wasn't made to be a big deal, just like java games. The game itself is pretty fun, in short sperts.
