chankast problem...

Hi guys , i have all versions of chankast, and i'm using the spanish bios files, don't know if that makes any difference .

But the problem is , it keeps coming up with this error message.

[This application has failed to start because d3d9.dll was not found. re-installing this application may fix this problem.]

This dosn't mean much to me, my system speca are plenty good enough to run this emulator.

To my knowledge I think you didn't have DX 9 installed,

Install DX9b, read the manual and the FAQ

That error means it can't find DX9 on your system or a component of it. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/directx and be sure to download the newest version DX9b.

I'm sure once that is done and installed it should work with no problems.

MS is all powerful - it doesn't even let you play the old games in DOS mode.

You may also want to make sure that your video card's drivers are up to date.
