"Chankast.exe has encountered a problem and need to close" error!!

hi all.. how much I'm even trying it on my computer, i couldn't work it in no way.. I take "Chankast.exe has encountered a problem and need to close" error in all the time. I tried almost all ways.. bios, old chankast, aspi driver, graphic card driver... and when intending to working it.. computer is freezed this time..

what's the solution of this problem?? i get happy so much if there'r friends who helps me...thank you..

computer features; a mediocre hardware,
*geforce fx5200 graphic card
*celeron 2.4 cpu
*512mb ram
*asrock p4vm800 mainboard

Unexpected errors like that are extremely hard to pinpoint. It could be a video card driver conflict, some other driver, software conflict, a Windows update installation that conflicts with it, a DLL conflict, etc. There is no clear answer.

If you are running XP (which you most likely are), the use the xxx CD-ROM plugin, not ASPI. If you can get the emulator to load that far, that is.
