Yo. This is my first post, and you guessed it, I need help. Computer is as follows:
1400mhz Pentium IV
16MB ATI Rage 128 video card
128MB ram
I realize the video card isn't fantastic. Anyway, the problem I have is that in a lot of games...Aerogauge, Super Smash Brothers, Zelda OoT, etc...certain text that should be white is black instead. Like, in Super Smash Brothers, the number that shows how hurt a person is is black. In Zelda, the little blue button that shows what action you'll do shows black (unreadable) text instead of white. I managed to fix this one time by switching on the "Change blending if invalid for video card" option, because I figured that a Rage 128 16MB might not work with whatever blending. It worked. I came back a few hours later and tried again, and this time...switching that mode on turns the entire game black. Can't see a thing. So I guess my questions are...(a) what's the deal with that option, (b) is this black text a known issue with ATI Rage cards, and (c) what should I do?
Thanks,
Kazin12
