Certain Things Freezing

Well I've only starting using P64 today and some bits are fine and then some bits just won't work.
In Starfox I can play the training and multiplayer perfectly but when I begin 1 player mode it freezes.
I also tryed Goldeneye, after 5 seconds into the first level it does the exact same thing.

Anything to stop this happening?

OS: Vista
Processor: Intel Core 2 CPU T5300 @ 1.73GHz
RAM: 1014MB
Intel GMA 950
DirectX 10

Heres a picture of the error that comes up

errormessageom2.jpg

P64 then says CPU is resumed but all I see is a black screen, but I think the game continues because I can hear all the sounds.

EDIT:

Tried a few more games,

- Super Mario 64 works perfectly
- Super Smash Bros works ok, but the frame rate drops to about 30 in the fights
- Perfect Dark has the same error message and the fps drops down to the 30s even at the menu

Your Integrated Intel chip is most likely at fault. Try updating it's drivers and/or switch to Jabo's Direct3D6 plugin. I suggest updating the drivers first, since the GMA 950 has seemingly enough features to be able to handle the default graphics plugin.

Project64 has never been very kind to integrated graphics chips, and games such as PD will have problems with these (most games across the board will have different problems, and only a handful of games with simple graphics routines work perfectly (like SuperMario 64).

Running 3D applications on an integrated Intel graphics accellerator is like, trying to run your household's power off a potato. It's not nearly enough.

I swapped to Jabo's Direct3D6 plugin and everything works wonderfully, thanks :D But Goldeneye still freezes up after 5 seconds into the game so I think I'll try a different Goldeneye

EDIT:

I got a working Goldeneye now. Everything is so perfect :D Thanks Agozer

I'll try updating my drivers now anyway.

JDizzle,

I was having the same problem as you-
Can I ask you where you retrieved your new Goldeneye that works better?

Also, did you notice a difference in gameplay after you updated your drivers?
Thanks!
