CD question

hey guys I know the Gamecube cds are small and everything, I was just wondering if Dolphin (Sweet ass emu!) can ru games directly?

Dolphin only works with ISOs since the GC disks are unreadable with any optical drive apart from the one in the GC. Thus, Dolphin will never run GC disks.

Yep, just like all the previous Nintendo consoles, you need an image of the game in order to play it on an emu, which, also just like all the previous Nintendo consoles, is a very complicated process about which we are not allowed to discuss here.

I can tell you one thing though. Ripping them is no simple matter. Using current methods, it's expensive and can be time consuming. I can't get anymore specific than that. See forum rules.
