Can't use NRage's input plugin

Everytime I set the input plugin to NRage's, I get these messages when I configure the controller.

Then the P64 closes. I tried opening itup again then click configure controller again, p64 just closes by itself. I downloaded a few more inputs, and most of them have the same problem. Help.

I'm using Windows XP with Pentium 4 2.8ghz, 512 mb ram. I got version 2 1.82a of the input. And I got ATI Radeon 9200.

Make sure you controller is installed correctly and configured and appears in the gaming contol panel.

Next I'd recommend unininstalling PJ64, redownload it with service pack at:

http://pj64.emulation64.com/code/mainiframe_downloads.htm

Then reinstall PJ64, and then install the service pack. You should have a clean installation of the latest version, so hopefully any problems would have fixed themselves.

The gamepad is detected. The Nrage input actually worked on another computer which is linked to the main computer with PJ64. But I reinstalled it, and still the same.

Actually, it's not just Nrage, most of my games like Need For Speed Underground and Gunbound experienced the same problem. But it worked fine on the other PC, eventhough it's using the same files from the main computer.

from which computer?

I'm not sure which files, but some cannot be used over the net work (especially if the serving computer already has them in use) and are better off installed on the machine using them.

I have had my share of problems with N-Rages plugin.

I recommend that you try to use Jabo's Direct Input7 V1.5

Jabo's input doesn't let me use the analog stick as the C buttons. Maybe there's another which can let me do that?

I put the PJ64 file in computer 1 that can't execute Nrage. But I can use Nrage on another computer 2, executing the file from that computer 1. And yes, I've closed them on either. Even if I didn't close it, it still worked on the other.

i say again the problem isnt pj64 its youre hardware
but it could be one of a million things
are you using norton antivius?
do you have a hp printer connected?
are youre network adapter drivers up to date?
is it a minimum of 100mb?
try running emulator outside of network

That's ok guys. I think the only thing that can solve this is reformatting. Thanks for all the help.
