hey,
ive looked at all the system requirments posted for the dolphin beta version, and i am still questioning wether i should go out and buy a new Gcard or not..
-money's hard to come by for me-
anyways, my stats are below, can any1 tell me if im able to run dolphin smoothly or not?

windows XP sp2
Radeon 9200 SE
pentium 4 CPU 3.06GHz
512 RAM

i hope dats all i need a say.
if u have Qs about me stats, or need more info to help me along, just email me or reply.
apart from that, is there anyone out there who can recomend some hardware or software to increase my computer capabilities?
if you are gonna recomend some hardware, please use $AU if you are going to give a price.

thanx all,
from michael.:bouncy:

It'll probably go just as slow as everyone else's, around 2-8fps on average for 3d scenes depending on complexity. It's the CPU that's the bottleneck with emulation though so upgrading the graphics card isn't going to do much good. You can upgrade your CPU if you want but I don't think it'd make much of a difference.

No, there is no way atm to play gc-games via the current dolphin at a decent speed. Even if you have 4 8800gtx with SLI connected together it wouldn't make a difference since the cpu is the bottleneck. Wait a little for the next dolphin release which comes with some speed improvements (afaik) ;).

how come mines moves at 0.5-1.5 fps when this one is an average of 2-8fps?
is it to do with my graphics card? or anything else?

oha nd i know that buying a cube or a wii would be easier and cheaper, tho if i was to upgrade my computer, then i will have higher capabilities to keep track of presant PC games, and be able to run PS2 emu with less glitches. i think. lol
