BIOS Problem...

I've searched the Forum for an answer to this problem. I was wondering if there is a way to stop the BIOS from resetting the Dreamcast clock everytime I restart Chankast. I've read a bit in the FAQ that says use another BIOS file and to use the Euro version (which I have). It stores all other settings but the time. It only asks to set the time if I actually change the time/date before restarting Chankast.

Thanks

why would you mess with the time and date?
None of my games ever asked me to do it, i´ve been playing with the 1998 date till now, and it does not make a problem to me, i´ll try to change the date and reply you!

Nope, you are right.
mine does not keep date and time, however it does not make a threat to my chanka gaming, why do you bother?

currently there is not battery support (think that's what it is) in chankast so your time and date will not save.

if you have a euro bios (blue swirl) it won't ask to set it every boot though

Thanks for the replies!

Your bios is corrupt. Load another one and after you had done you're settings st it to read only, then it will never ask you again! That halps, I done it the same way!
