big sound problem, please help.

I've been getting a problem with my pj64's sound-

no matter WHAT ROM/ISO i use, the sound ALWAYS gets messed up, it sticks on a "syllable" of sound and just repeats it over and over, then will move on to the next "syllable" and repeat it a few times, and it sounds really, really bad.

its quite annoying, does anyone know how to fix this?

System specs please and you have ticked sync game to audio right?

Some games have problems when you try to emulate them.

maybe you have tried this games
