Best video plugins better than project 64's default?

Does anybody have some suggestions for video plugins that are better than project 64's default, jabo's direct? Is rices plugin better? I used it and it appears to be a step down from project 64's plugin. Any suggestions would be awesome! Thanks to any and all!

Also, it really depends on the game and your computer specs. Project64's default is an excellent plugin, as it has good performance over a large range of games. If you're having any specific problems, please do tell us.
