Geforce 3
Soundblaster live 5.1
Windows ME
hammerhead fx controller

Thx for ur help

The defaults? :p

Seriously, the default settings are usually the best on Project64. They're very carefully hand-reared on an organic farm somewhere in the netherregions of cyberspace to be biologically correct for every possible configuration.

Almost.

if you want better visuals, turn on the anti-aliasing and the anistrophic filtering. applying them might cause slowdowns so be warned... :)

Meh...
well maybe first...

options --> settings --> advanced (make sure to have hide advanced features unchecked) -->

CPU Core style: Rcompiler

Self-Mod Code Method: Protect Memory

Default Memory Size: 8MB

Advanced Block Linking: Off

make sure to have "always overwrite default settings with ones from ini" checked

that works the best for me.

Since you have a Geforce 3 video settings should be something like

Fullscreen: (whatever resolution) 32-bit
2x Anistrophic Filtering (try 4x if it still goes fast, try 1x if it goes slow)
Sort independent anti-aliasing checked
Force depth enable checked (only if you have some graphics not working well)
force depth compare checked (only if you have some graphics not working well)

i think thats it, and oh yeah sync audio with game should work very well with your specs. lol the sync audio should work any specs now cause it doesn't subtract the fps by 3 anymore (well at least for me) from normal :D

/me is acting like uncle from jackie chan adventures

ONE MORE THING!!! YOU SHOULD UPGRADE YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM!!! IT STINKS LIKE GARLIC!!! try WinXP or Win2000.

You should be able to use 8x ansiotropic filtering with a GF3, as well as 4x antialiasing. It doesn't drop in FPS (as I'm CPU limited anyway with a 900)
