Best settings for MAME32 Plus??

What are the best graphics settings for MAME32 Plus? 2xsai? eagle? 75% scanlines. What will give you the best image quality. Also, is there a front end I can use with MAME32 Plus that supports me changing the joystick easily for all games?

The answer to your first question is purely subjective. Use the filter that looks best to you.

As for your second query, it doesn't matter which frontend you use, you still change the controls via the tab menu.
