Hello! I recently switched to Linux.
What's the best GFX plugin for Mupen on Linux?
I mean, you can't use Glide64 plugin on it, can you?
I really would love to use it though.
Framebuffer is desirable, though not really necessary
You shouldn't use any dll with the linux version. There's a version of glide64 ported to linux, you can grab it inside the binary release of mupen64 or you can find the source code on this message board. The linux port of this plugin does not require any wrapper.
All graphics plugins have their own disadvantages and advantages over each other...except for zilmar's Basic CFB plugin and NiGL.
Or, I am just speaking for Windows plugins, but I feel educated enough to propose that the same applies to Macintosh plugins. Not that I have a Mac, so I can't say for sure, but it's almost certain.
So, I would say, try them all. Try all the graphics plugin, be experimental, find out for yourself which one(s) look the best.
