Banjo-Tooie weird GFX problems

I was playing Banjo-Tooie yesterday using PJ64, D3D8 V1.6 gfx plugin.
PC Specs, AMD Athlon 2400+, 512MB DDR Ram, Radeon 9600XT 128MB

During the third level, (the amusment park one) I had changed into the bank van, sometimes, yes only sometimes, when I enter one of the tunnels for the van i seem to slide under the ground which causes me to only see parts of of the ground (holes everywhere) with the background texture underneth, once i get this i can leave the tunnels and i will be under the ground plane permenently. Pretty sure its a GFX plugin releated issue. Sorry I dont have any screens, no interweb on my home PC . Will try to get some.

MORTALMAN, when people just post something like "use x instead", they may be right, but readers don't know:

1) are you familiar with the issue? do you *know* it's an unfixable-emulator issue, or host-system issue for example?
2) do you know your recommendation fixes the issue? please either give sources or state that it's a guess, etc.
3) what other issues is the change likely to cause, if any.

by taking twice as long on your answer please, you can potentialy help thousands of times more people (by helping us fix bugs for the future).

you can use rice video, jabo D6, <

and USE the last version for de driver
