Specs of Naomi and Atomiswave, some identical, but a Main Memory in Atomiswave is minor (16mb - Naomi = 32mb)

ATOMISWAVE
CPU : Hitachi SH-4 64-bit RISC CPU (200 MHz 360 MIPS / 1.4 GFLOPS)
Graphic Engine : PowerVR 2 (PVR2DC)
Sound Engine : ARM7 Yamaha AICA 45 MHZ (with internal 32-bit RISC CPU, 64 channel ADPCM)
Main Ram : 32 megs
Main Memory : 16 MByte
Graphic Memory : 16 MByte
Sound Memory : 8 MByte
Media : ROM Board
Simultaneous Number of Colors : Approx. 16,770,000 (24bits)
Polygons : 2.5 Million polys/sec
Rendering Speed : 500 M pixel/sec
Additional Features : Bump Mapping, Fog, Alpha-Bending (transparency), Mip Mapping (polygon-texture auto switch), Tri-Linear Filtering, Anti-Aliasing, Environment Mapping, and Specular Effect.

DC Emu Fanatic
Impossible is a word that should not be ever used in emulation! People said it about #N64, DC and GC!!! What exactly is atmoiswave? And what makes you think it would be impossible?

heard some high-effect games need several naomi system help to run.So it's not easy to emulate by normal PC.

Just on a personal note: SNK went bankruptcy for the Neogeo emulation mess... "If someone wants to play the next Metal Slug, why he doesn't buy a real PCB?" (Haze's word)
And I agree with him. Yes, systems are made to be cracked and emulated (I am trying myself to break the encryption of PGM games), but trying to break into system SO recent would be just an homicide of many great companies. Like SNK. Like Nazca, if they don't sell enough MS6 boards.
Think about it: it's just "for emulation purpose (mmmmm, I already heard that about the Gigawing XORs...) or it's another way to say "game X will be released shortly: I want to play it on my PC and not in the arcades paying!".
Please, be honest.

Most definately, The Atomiswave board is a currently being manucatured, unless you wish for the death of SEGA and Sammy, i'd hope and pray that this never makes it into chankast. If you dont care... well then you probably won't be playing any new video games in 10 years.

That's totally true. I can't say I wouldn't love playing KOF Neowave on my PC as soon as it's out... but frankly, this is not good for the industry. (I won't be playing NeoWave at all unless they release a north american PS2 version... I ain't seen an arcade in like 6 years in here)
I wonder although? What really did kill the DC in the first place? Was it the really easy way to get games ISOs off the net or just the PS2 getting all the fame as soon as it was released?

i'd say a combination of poor marketing and the fact that most people decided to wait for ps2/xbox/gc. warez scene sure helped, but i don't think that was the main reason (ps2 games are more pirated anyway).

and let's not underestimate the sega curse, of course :)

i'd prefer if chanka team concentrated on dc and optionally naomi boards for now, there'll be time to add new things when dc emulation is optimized to the max. but it's up to them really.

Factors for the failure of the Immortal DC (TM):
1. the worst marketing plan I've ever seen in my life
2. the worst distribution net I've ever seen
3. in everyone's mind: Playstation = WAREZ
Here they are, plain out. And about AW emulation, there's a LITTLE problem: hardware is the same, and the BIOS boots even with the current version; if the project goes opensource (which I hope will happen - can't wait to finally mess around with the code!), everyone with a bit of skill will write whatever is needed - in fact, not even MAME driverss are as hard as they are pictured if you know where to look.
We could be guilty of AW's failure or of its success.
Please insert coin and choose your destiny.

Kill the industry? Are you kidding?

Look at how easy the GBA is to pirate. Flawless emulation on all games, and the roms are easy to find.

Now, look at GBA and GBA game sales. I don't think that piracy could cripple that.
