anyone here like Evanescence?

I just got into them, they're now my third favorite in my artist/band list. I think their music is great. It's sort of dark, rock, they have a mix of soft, medium and fast paced rock. Their best song is Bring Me To Life. If you haven't heard them, get the song. it starts off slow, but after 45 seconds it goes faster. than goes even faster.

If you have seem them on christian charts... dont be fooled, the media made a big mistake on that. their music is not christian music.

Very good band in small doses, after listneing to the album a few times though i tend to pick one or two songs every week and have the odd listen, very good tigh music but can get annoying.

What i have to mention though is the ballads with pianos are spectacular, irrespective of the rest of the album, those alone make the band worth hearing, fortunatley the rest of the album has enough to cut the mustard as well.

I have some ballad-type tracks from their previous album, the unreleased one if I remember correctly, and those have become my favourites.
