Any Form of ETA on update?

If I was you, I would not expect anything from Chankast. Though the official members didn't show up to say that it IS dead, I guess the official members ARE dead... or they gave up when they saw the plenty of guys that would start asking "OMG CHANKAST 0.3 NEOW".

If you just want to play DC games, buy a console. They are extremely cheaper nowadays and will run any game you want it to. 'Sides that, Dreamcast Scene has been in focus not for Emulation Ports to PCs, but emulators for the console itself. I wouldn't bother in waiting a Windows emu for dreamcast - I'd surely buy one. So should do yourself, if you don't have that console.

Heh, yeah.

I have a fully modded Treamcast with BBA and everything.. Don't need to BUY a dreamcast. However, I want to see everything that can be emulated, emulated, for the sheer fact that machines break. It's getting hard to find the older systems that are now fully emulated. The dreamcast _will_ eventually become a rare machine, but the GAMES need to be played still. *also, updates his panglobal list to add a first victim :term: *

Pj is just one example that an emulator can be developed quietly and slowly. Don't count anything out simply because there is a lack of progress.

Mind you that dreamcast is NOT buried so deep, we had still two game releases this year. I am sure new DC emulators will appear, we just have to be patient. They will appear when Dreamcast becomes a tale
