Okay, right. I need some help with Dolphin. Straight of the bat. I got crap fps. You have probably heard this before, and i searched around some before posting, but didn't find anything that satisfied me.

Spec:
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit
Core: Intel Quadcore 2.4 Ghz.
Memory: 8 gb ram DDR2
Graphic card: 9600 GT 1gb ram

Games tested: TP and SSBM

I use the download at the front page as download, that is the dual core support version. images of settings will be upped when fileshack work.

I have checked "Use Dynarec" and all the plugins have standard settings.

Twilight princess opening movies does around 15 fps, and SSBM does around 10-15 in action.

What i find strange is that some of you, that seems to have worse computers, get higher fps.

Could i get some hints what to do, or am i just a lost cause?

I assume you're not using the latest version of Dolphin :)

There's actually a new version of Dolphin (called Dolphin "SVN"), which is still in development. This version should be faster on your comp.

Some guys like Xtreme2damax are compiling and uploading almost every new versions to their FTP, see his signature for the link :)

Uh, yea. Better fps indeed, but now TP doesn't load past the logos, and Tales of Symphonia doesn't work after the first movie. ToS didn't work on either emulators btw.

Yea, that worked, but now im back to painfully slow speeds instead. Oh well, thanks for the tips.

I would suggest for TP, that you turn off render to main window. If you have it on or not...HUGE speed improvement, and it´s a LOT faster with OGL with the most recent builds.

For some reason you can't have dual core enabled under the x64 build of dolphin for Twilight Princess. However Twilight Princess should work with dual core enabled under the x86 SVN build of Dophin.

The x86 SVN builds are almost on par in terms of speed compared to the x64 builds, quite a far cry from the last 1.03.2 x86 dolphin release where the x86 build couldn't achieve over 3 FPS on most games/systems. :)

Really? I´m using x86 right now, and i can´t seem to get past them...Yep, just tried, nothing...I DO get pretty decent speed with it off, so it´s not so bad...Some games actually works better with dual core turned OFF. SMS is a perfect example.

Btw, all the compilers have every reason to be proud of them self. I know we are.

Well, i did get 3-4 fps faster without Render to main screen under OGL. Still only at around 14-17 fps when i run around in the first area. Also, i cant use DX9 as graphic driver, i have direct X10 installed, so i should have superlatest version.

Edit: and when im on it.(newb detection warning) can OGL not render anti-alias, cause that box is grey for me?
