Annoying bug with PJ64+Direct64

Hi Guys!

I hope this hasn't been discussed before, if so, sorry for double posting.
When I start Zelda Majora's Mask using Project64 and Direct64 it runs very well, but there is one bug that annoys me: Whe I switch to fullscreen, the FPS bar is still visible (flickering). Generally speaking, certain thing that keep changing (like the frames or a tray icon for instance) are visible in fullscreen mode, which is kinda irratating durng gameplay. When I set the same window and fullscreen resolution, the flickering isn't there anymore. But in Direct 64 you can only set the window resolution to 640*480, which is a bit low.
(I also tried pulling the windows taskbar over it and marking "always on top" but this didn't work :) )

Are you guys familiar with this problem? any fix? Can you toggle the FPS bar in PJ64? Any help would be appreciated. THX in advance.

Yes with 1964 this doesnt occur, HOWEVER, there is sound issue I am having with 1964 even after using Jabo's Dsound plugin with RSP (usually the best all around sound.).

Well, in 1964 I have other objects that flicker, for example the notebook of the bombers (everything in zelda, of course) and the black bars at the top and the bottom of the screen while being in Z-targeting mode. BTW, I have a radeon 9200SE with catalyst 4.9 beta installed.

The Bomber's Notebook issue is solved by using an older Alpha and using simulate overscan.

Also, Black bars are supposed to be at the top and bottom of the screen while Z-Targeting.

Using an older alpha, you say? I thought this was the first public release. Could you please provide a link? I used google and searched the forum but I didn't find an earlier beta, only 0.5....

EDIT:

Okay, I found the older version in this thread. Solves the problems, and brings a tiny new one. When I exit the bomber notebook, the background of the menu looks like the heat vision from predator :D Oh well, I guess I can live with that.

I think i have Direct64 working well with 1964 as well as it probably can no interuptions i would say so far. My problem is the sound. In 1964 I have sound issues popping and what not. Is there a way to solve this (Hint: read previous post to know what i already tried.)

Try using Schibos sound plugin with Hacktarux's HLE RSP plugin. I usually get the most crisp sound with it, and I get no crackles or pops either.

Ok, I think I DID find the plugin however the popping problem remains. *sigh* :(. Could this be do to me not having a woofer? (Hint: When i am using Jabo's sound plugins in PJ64 the sound is fine)
