An ISO without 1ST_READ.BIN file

i got this ISO that's supposed to be a DC game that didn't contain a 1ST_READ.BIN file. and ofcourse it doesn't work on chankast. can i just take out a 1ST_READ.BIN file from another game and merge with the ISO?

TrotterW is right, there are some games without a 1st_read.bin file (Actually they all have a file that does the same work but the name of this file is different).

yeah, i think i remember these games being WinCE games, don't quote me though, not 100% sure

it's a Japanese game called "Ouka Fuushin", probably not very well known here. every single other DC ISO i browsed, there were 2 files at about 3~4 mb in the main directory which are "2_DP.BIN" and "1ST_READ.BIN", this Ouka Fuushin's ISO only contained "2_DP.BIN".

if a ip.bin on the disc, then must open with a hexeditor and you can see the start-file.
some groups make the disc filecopyprotectted with hidden files, you need isobuster or cdmage to see and extract the hidden files.

You must use hexeditor on ISO and extract all hidden files - if this ISO is R18 relase. Try to find a megalex tutorial for that or just hack the CDI image of BooCD using my patch if ISO is non-bootable. You can grab the patch from my site www.dreamplay.prv.pl or directly from:
