Do you guys download the isos of games or do you use the actual GC disk, and if you do use the disk HTF do you do it, do they work in a normal cd drive, do the work in a DVD drive do you need special apparatus for it and how large are the files.

And my other question is, Has anyone been able to play a game properly with GC emu like proper frame rate, just like playing it on the console. Do the games work properly.

yeah that is basically it for the moment.

DO NEVER Put the word download in one sentence , read the rules ffs , and about ripping your own game , there are enough posts about that

no dont get me wrong i wasnt asking for a site or a mechanism or anything to download isos or roms, i sincerely dont want to use a GC emulator not that my comp could handle it.

I just wanna know how it is done for future reference...

The answer is, some inevitably will download games they don't own, some will rip them themselves, and some will download games they own but don't have the ability to rip.

I suggest YOU go read the rules. The original poster of this thread broke none of them.

Insert clever rhetoric here.
It should be noted that although the question has already been answered, no gameCube disk will be read in current CD or DVD drives. Games played through the emulator are done by extracting the contents of your original Gamecube disk - although if you want to play them at a decent speed, I suggest you use your Gamecube.

Gorxon said he didn't break the rules, but then icepir8 said that you couldn't ask how to rip the games when he did.

One day, when DVD drives conform to the mt. fuji standard you will be able to read your discs in your drive. Until then, unless you want to purchase extra hardware and software for your gamecube, you can forget about it.

Ok, I take that back, sorry. Among his many questions he does subtly ask how to do it..using an acronym I didn't recognize at first. Well, what Icepir8 said is basically it.

What my point really was in that response to Eyedentity was that he wasnt breaking any rules by asking if we had downloaded any isos. And using the word downloaded is not an offense on these board (unless in some well-known situations of course :p).
