access violations in graphics plugin?

what is one of those? why have i started to get them a lot in a few of my roms?

It means that the plugin is trying to access a memory address that is not valid. With TR64 ogl plugin you get this error when the incorrect ucode has been select. I can't speak for the other plugins. Also if you have c hanged/updated your video card/driver this can also cause the problem.

im using jabos d3d 7 1.40. can i stop these errors? i havnt changed anything and its just suddenly started

try reinstalling your video drivers and directx.

how do i uninstall them first?

go to add/remove programs in the control panel. if they aren't in there, just install the new drivers over the old ones
