Access Violation ???

On certain ROMs, I get a pop-up every ten seconds or so...

Access Violation. While processing graphics data an exception occurred you may need to restart the emulator.

Restarting makes no difference.

Anyone know what the problem might be? I have v1.6

Ok, thanks for that. I tried the suggestions in the link you gave me, but to no avail.
One thing though, I've noticed that any ROM with the .z64 extension gives the error message, and yet any ROM that has the .v64 extension works fine.
I'm stumped. Can anyone help?
