Hey Everyone,
Just wondering if anyone knows what is the absoulute best DVD-ROM drive to buy that will read absoulutely everything and not stop during installations of games and Windows XP (when I am reformatting). I just can't get a perfect installation of Windows XP when I am reformatting, I have to skip like 10-15 files to get through it and get to the other installation stage after the reformatting bit. This is probably why I am getting those error messages.
"Setup failed to extract file from E:what ever folder####.cab. This is mostly caused by low memory (low disk space for swapping file) or a corrupted file cabinet." when I install either games like Halo and applications like Office 2000.
There is nothing wrong with my discs cuz they work perfect on other PC's.
My [LG] HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8162B is really shitting me up the wall!
So once again, anyone know the best brand of DVD-ROM drives.
