about refresh-rate

I've downloaded the 40.72 detonators and my monitor's v-frequency has now a maximum of 85 hz. Before installing it it has 100 hz. Now I've got the 41.09 detonators, but still the same problem. I have tried to lock the refresh-rate to 60 hz and it works. I have tried to lock it to 100 hz, but the vertical refresh rate is 85 hz again.

Please help!

Sometimes installing new video drivers will fruck up your monitor drivers, check and make sure your monitor is set to the right driver (and not Standard VGA) and also try looking for updates for the monitor driver.
