Hi,
I just downloaded a retail copy of RE4 from Torrents a few minutes ago,its 2.03 GB overall.I've burned it on a DVD now.

Here's the question, would this DVD burnt Game run on a non-modded Gamecube?I dont have a gamecube right now,but will soon get it.So like will it work just like the real thing? And if not,Is there any way to make it work?

Thanks.

It will work, but you'll need to remove the GC's casing (to fully expose the disk drive) and use a surgical knife to put three parallel and two perpendicular scratches on the lens. This will refocus the laser so that it will read burned disks. Sounds weird, but it does work. Good luck. :)

Make sure to search for a guide for changing the laser, the lines need to be in the right place and not too deep, just enough to cause the beam to be bent and reflected the right way. You can probly find pre-modded lasers - that way you just replace the whole thing and don't worry about doing it wrong. It took be awhile but I finally found one and it works great, never again will I have to buy a gcn game! Somehow it readjusts the beam so it can read the whole disk since there like 2 times bigger! I have one disk with three games on it!

Edit: The site I bought it from isn't there anymore - sorry, maybe you can find another?

Finally, when you've done all that above, you should realise that the game doesn't cost that much. :p

Doesn't cost too much? $85 isn't too much? Gotta love my country and the game companies "discrimination"...and no, it's not only the high taxes fault. Anyhow this is a whole different story so:
