Triforce of Something...
As you all know, IBM made a Silicium CPU of 65 Ghz a while ago. Now, IBM has developed a new CPU, based on Silicium, but with the grand speed of ¡¡¡350 GHz!!!.

How do you think this is going to provoke in the Market? IBM is, again, not selling it, but, is it important?

The company said the new transistor, a key component in microchips, is designed for use in cable and DSL modems, wireless devices and automobile telematics systems, but not PCs.

No its not as important as you think, because it isnt even designed for pc's. BTW they created a transistor that can reach speeds of 350Ghz, not a CPU, yet.

It basically means they can run this new more efficient transistor at lower speeds to reduce power consumption over other slower, less efficient transistors. Making it perfect for wireless devices.

They also built the world's fastest super computer.

8,000 405MHz Mac G4 chips, reaching 1 billion gigaflops.

OK, well seeing as the data here is untrue then, be it by accident or not, I'm going to lock the thread to prevent further confusion.
