I'm not a noob, but I've tried just about everything and I how everyone loves this question, but what does everyone think are the best settings for pj64 on my system (Plugins and settings): In general... not for every game, but for most.

I tend to get between 45 and 55 FPS on my system with Super Mario 64 and like 25-35 fps on Cruisin Exotica.

I have the newest detonator drivers.. 40.41 - actually sped pj up a bit!!!!

I have PJ64 1.5, and will search for any plugins that are suggested..

Try to keep the res at least - 512x384

Have fun!!! :)

And remember, Cruis'n Exotica is far from perfect and is newly supported, best played with JabosD3D 6 1.5 or Unofficial DaedalusD3D8 Rel2 plugin.

Uncheck "Sync Game to Audio" in the Sound's plugin.

Evangelion 64 runs normaly with FPS Limiter DISABLED at 170 FPS. With FPS limiter enabled at 60 FPS and with "Sync Game to Audio" enabled runs at ~40 FPS.

download azimers audio plugin, and under RSP configuration you need to check that you are sending alist to audio plugin

lle audio .. well using the rsp for anything is not that great on CPU with out MMX2 .. which is basicly celeron and duron .. that is why azimers and hle audio makes a huge differnce

I heard something about Azimer's Audio, so i downloaded it a while back. I don't think I really ever experimented with it for more than a second... i've been using Zilmar's audio. I think I'll try it in a minute :)

PS. I thought I might flip out if i had more than half the posts in this thread :)

even though it is a pci card, it should still be able to support those features. even my card supports them and it is pci also.

for large games i use 512x384 (pj64) but in 1964 i use 800x600 because it isn't at all any slower than 512x384 with pj. For smaller games it's 800x600 regardless of the emu i use. :)
