First of all does anyone know what it is? Stereo refers to your two eyes seeing two different images in the same way that headphones with two differing outputs gives stereo sound. Basically it means it gives you depth in 3D enviroments
3D stereo is AWESOME with some games in PJ64, I have some screen shots taken in anaglyph mode at my webspace http://www.btinternet.com/~thirty_ninester/pics/stereo It's good fun but it can be disorintating until you get used to it.
Mario 64 is as good as any to demonstrate the power of stereo. Has anyone here tried it? All you need to start is a pair of red/green glasses. A suitable video card with stereo drivers enabled, (my old GeForce2MX worked fine at 800*600 16bit with the Athlon 2000+ XP) and Jabo's Direct 3D set to the correct settings.
