360 Shortages

Well my girlfriend's brother finally decided to buy his own Xbox 360 today, after abusing Final Fantasy XI on my console for the past month.

He was so unhappy when I returned from every single electronic retailer in Cardiff with no 360, that he sent me the following photo via MMS.

Bless him. I told him he should of pre-ordered months ago.

Where's the logic in that? Wait a few weeks or even days for a 360, or *insert predictably long wait here* for the PS3.

I could go to Wal-Mart right now and pick up a 360. Premium and Core packages, still in stock. They never sold their initial shipment.

... 'Though it's $575 Canadian with tax for the Premium. ;_;

Edit: On the topic of 360, has anyone heard anything else about the crashing and such bugs? I'm going to start saving for one now, and I'm curious if I should wait a bit longer or just buy one when I can.

Final Fantasy XI is out for 360?

Yep it's in Beta testing now (and it's free)!

The final version goes live in March.
