2 Graphics cards?

Is it possible to run two graphics cards at once in a computer? i.e. 1 PCI, 1 AGP. I've seen a lot of peeps with 2 cards listed in their specs, don't think that you can run both at the same time, but can you have 2 in your machine and just switch between the 2 in display properties and games? just wondering.

i did this because i wanted to test having two monitors working at the same time, You can do it but i seem to remember having problems choosing which card applications use.

Good Luck

yes. You can use 2 graphics cards + 2 displays or more at the same time. Most apps will run on either display. Some api specific apps won't though. Nvidia's Nview options allow you to set where the applications you choose to run and which display it will run in.

You most definetely can have two cards. One card is designated a primary, and one a secondary, with certain consequences. I don't know how you can have two cards running at once, especially for DX/OGL apps, but I suppose it's possible.
