I got 1964 version 8.5 to fix 8.4, which it did, and the FPS runs faster than the older versions of 1964. But all the games miss audio. Do you need an RSP plugin or what? Can you help me to get the audio working? Thank you.

1. What are you computer's Specs?
2. Which Plugins are you using?
&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp a. I'd suggest using Jabo's D-Sound if you have a new, fast machine.
&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp b. I'd suggest using Azimer's Audio 0.40b or 0.30 if you have a slower machine.
3. RSP Should be enabled for better quality... that would probably help.

Good luck :)

That's just it. It doesn't have any RSP plugins LOL.

But the last version of 1964 that came out before 8.5 plays audio, but the FPS was really slow in some games. 8.5 sped up the FPS, but now there's no audio :(.

I'm using Jabo's D-Sound plugin

How would you enable RSP in 1964 8.5?

Um, I seem to recall that jabo's D-Sound is supposed to not work in 1964, at all.
Use azi's .40 b or .30.

to enable rsp, grab the RSP.dll from pj64 1.5,
put it in your plugins folder, then go to plugins, change plugins, and check the RSP at the bottom of the window.

on what? .83C? As far as I can tell, the author of the emu states that Jabo's DirectSound does not, and should not, work in any released version. AKA: .84-5, and .72-3. .83 was unreleased due to bugs, and it did work there, but not perfectly.

Jabo's D-sound does not work on 8.4, Period.
It does make a few sounds, but not for more than a second. Use Azimer's Audio.

Correct, as its stated in the included documentatation, Jabo's Audio plugins will not work in v0.8.4 and up. (guess no one can read included docs).
