Zelda looks...GOOD on my S3 ProSavage!!!

I've tried every plugin imaginable to make games look right, and with the exceptions of Conker, Zelda, Mario, and a couple others, everything wasn't TOO bad. But the ONE thing that riled me up was the many awful glitches of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask! So I tried the Glide plugins, and even THEY looked horrible. But then I downloaded recently released versions of these two essentials for Savage users, and now the games play fine! I use Glide64 0.5 and Evoodoo 4.0.21 and now most of the games that looked awful play fine (that are supported but Glide64). Just disable fog. The only error I've found is that it won't let you play in full-screen most of the time unless you select it from the options tab. CTRL+ALT+ENTER won't work. Please reply and let me know what you think.

Us Savage users sure have something to get riled up about! Now if only it supported Conker and Perfect Dark...

First of all, look at my video card. Then second, I've tried everything imaginable! I would've already had a new video card, but I got a cruddy Wal-Mart special, and I don't even know if I have an AGP slot. Trust me, I know what I'm doing when I tweak with options. I'm just tryng to help other poor Savage users get a better taste of n64 emulation. I'm not even gonna upload Jaboo pics of how bad Zelda was, lol. All I know is that the combo of the latest Glide64 and Evoodoo works better than ANY other plugin I've seen.

Yep,Savage cards are VERY VERY VERY bad in emulation and they are a bottleneck (example: Counter-Strike in a P4 1,8 GhZ,at a resolution of 1024*768 in Open GL mode, the game run SLOW).

If you open your CPU,you can search for the AGP slot

Well, can you tell me if there's a way to look up my pc online? I know nothing about the "guts" of a pc, and I had a hard enough time installing RAM. The place I bought my computer from won't help me, and my manuals don't say ANYTHING. If it turns out that I have a PCI slot instead (grrrrrr) is there any GFX card that will give me good results with Project 64?

P.S. I'm only 15, so I don't get around too well with a pc. I am VERY good with computers until I hear about either programming or installing, lol. I get confused easily around there.

Doomulation

?????????????????????????
Any card except the old ones, I would say...
I know there are some gf cards in pci, in which, everyone should do fine in n64 emulation. For raedons, I don't know know, but I know others know.

Btw, it's alt+enter for fullscreen.

Well, then I guess I'm the least experienced here, lol. All I need to know is a way to find out what exactly is in my pc, but even if I opened it, I wouldn't know where to look.

hmmm, then don´t open it, it´s safer... :p

I think there are some programs that tells you what exactly is inside your PC.

errrrr forget it. I KNOW about that program, but what I really need to do is find out what kind of video slot I have. I haven't seen ONE program or book that came with my pc that says anything about my slot.
I know that my goping is getting old, so I'm just gonna give up, lol.

giving up is never good. besides just look for a liittle brown slot in your computer(thats the agp slot that you need) if you can open it.

one question, is your computer a

Emachines
HP
Compaq

it must be one of the three because those are the only
ones that wal*mart sells. emachines and HP definalty
have the agp slot.so you can upgrade your card.compaq
im not sure you just have to look for yourself.

And thats all the info I got to offer cool.

Modem

ph33r teh hammy!
This is a example, but most, if not all, motherboards that do have a AGP slot looks like this. The white long ones are PCI and the smaller one to the right is a AGP slot.

hey, all I see is something called "PCI Bus". Is that the PCI port? I sadly don't see any AGP thing. I went to system->hardware->device manager and I've looked in the system devices. I'm really confused and I NEED to know of a good PCI card. I only know of AGP cards and I feel sick wondering what I'm supposed to get. Sorry about all the trouble, and I DO thank you ALL for your patience and assistance.
