From all the sound plugins which is the best and not so laggy sound plugin for the 1964 emulator. I have the azimer's audio v0.40 beta 2 but its very laggy and slows down my game. Yes the sound quality is good but the game runs so slowwww. I kinda gets me mad when i run a slow game with the kind of computer i got. It shouldn't happend as much. Whats the best recomended Sound Plugin for the 1964 with good sound quality and not so laggy. :ranting:

For most pc's Jabo's is the best sound plugin. Just put jabo's sound plugin in your plugins directory along with the RSP.dll. Make sure that you select the rsp when using the plugin or you will get no sound. For best sound results use sync game to audio.

The fastest one for me that uses that least percentage of cpu is shibo's. You can also go with Mystic Gohan's suggestion too. Try both ways and see what you like best.

I was using Schibo's with Zelda MM the other day. It is fast. The only problem was it was too fast. :) I had to turn on the speed limiter which I usually never have to touch. The only problem was using save states. load one and you can kiss your sound goodbye. The same thing happens with Azimer's, but at least it comes back after you leave an area. With Schibo's the only way to get the sound back is to save natively, quit, then rerun it. I wonder if using an RSP (a different in Azimer's case) would change this? Also, unrelated I think and it must be on a bug list somewhere is timing issues in Zelda MM. The mini games are impossible to play and/or win. Also the hot spring water goes cold too soon. Only way to change this was to change to PJ64. Of course that meant no using Schibo's plugin...
