why it there a directory for Gameboy roms in Options / Configure Controller Plugin / Controller Pak TAB / Change Mempak directory ??

I've just finished saving all 6 childrens with Henry. The walkthroughs say that each rescued children unlocks something, but nothing gets unlocked when I go back to the game main menu after the end credits...anyone knows why ? I'm using Project64 1.5 by the way. edit - nevermind I found out...
