every time i try to play a rom the message no pixel shader support comes up how can i fix this ??

every time i play kirby 64 my controls don't work beside start, and the game wont let me go on from the demo learning how to do kirbies copy move. is there any way i can solve this problem

it seems every time i play gauntlet ledgends the screen flashes like a strobe light is this just the rom or is it the setting or is there anyway to stop it any help would be much appreciated thanks
