I downloaded the Xvid codec, extracted it to the Divx folder and i still can't watch my Xvid video. How do i get the Xvid codec to work?

I've had my CD-RW drive for a long time. But now my computer wont detect it for some reason. I've tried unplugging it and re-plugging it in but it still doesn't detect it. It doesn't even show it under My Computer. I don't have any drivers for it either. Can someone tell me what's the problem...

I'm usin HMonitor right now but it says 2 cpu temps: CPU1 and CPU2...which one is my cpu?? the cpu 2 always has a lower temp. also

I tried the demo of Hitman 2 and No one lives forever on my comp. and on hitman 2,the music skips and sometimes stops and restarts...on NOLF,the music stops all of a sudden on the main menu and in game theres no voices...can some 1 plz help? i have on-board sound and my mobo is a K7T Turbo,thanks

Will the GeForce 4 Ti 4200 128mb increase the gfx over a lot of games compared to my GeForce 2 Ti 64mb? Like Soldier of fortune 2,Return to castle wolfenstein,neverwinter nights,etc.
