XBOX Controller S deadzone/range settings?

Hey everyone,
I was wondering what you all use (specifically) for your range and deadzone settings on your Xbox controllers. I am trying to play turok 2 but having a hell of a time configuring it to something half decent to allow me to aim. I've been tweaking for about an hour now with no luck. Any help? Thanks

in XBCD i use a deadzone of 20

What are your settings in PJ64 then? I am using NRage2.0, and you?

i leave the deadzone settings in nrage, at default.

That does seem to work pretty decent, thanks, but it still seems pretty sensitive to me, maybe its because my controller isn't an Xbox branded one (a gamester controller)

I might make a diff config for just sniping or something, and bind it to change with a key, or get a new controller..

Any suggestions on a controller?

if it still feels sensitive, just lower the sensitivity in the plugin till it doesn't

as in the range? When I lower it to say 50 or so, its nice, but takes forever to turn around in a 360
