Whether you're new to the Customer Preview Program (CPP) or have already joined, you can sign up now to receive trial software for Windows .NET Server 2003 Release Candidate 2 (RC2)—via CD or download. Read about the CPP and the different options for obtaining the pre-release software, and then use the links on the right to register to order the CD Kit or download product files. Note that in either case, the pre-release software is time limited and will expire in 360 days.

The Downloadable Software
If you choose to register to download the software, be aware that you will not receive the product CDs. These downloadable products are available in English, German, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified), and you will be able to choose your language version on the download site. Note that to gain access to the download site, you will need a Microsoft Passport account. The following products are available for download:

Windows .NET Server 2003, Standard Edition
Windows .NET Server 2003, Enterprise Edition
Windows .NET Server 2003, Enterprise Edition for 64-bit Itanium-based Systems*
Windows System Resource Manager, for use with Windows .NET Server 2003, Enterprise Edition (English language only)
Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 Monitor

When you register to download the RC2 product files, Microsoft will send you an e-mail message with download instructions and credentials to access a community of private Windows .NET Server 2003 newsgroups. The e-mail message will also contain instructions for how to obtain your unique Product Key, which is required for installation. You must use this key each time you install Windows .NET Server 2003. If you are a CPP participant upgrading from RC1 to RC2, you will be able to use the Product Key assigned to you at RC1. The software can be installed on up to 10 unique computers.
