what does the download plugin feature do

like how does it know what plugin to download and does it put it straight in 1964 plugin folder and do people use it

It takes you to the plugins forum here at EmuTalk. Then you pick the one you want to download.

It's all manual. Simply takes you to this url http://www.emutalk.net/downloads.php?&forumid=67 so you can download what plugins you want.

or you can use Flare's Plugin Manager. Has some quirks (I only have used it a little so far), but seems pretty cool.
