Super Robot Wars 64 compatibility

Hey folks, I'm new around here. Twas referred by ForteMP3, an occasional poster around here... anyway, I was hoping someone could help me with something. I've been trying to get Super Robot Wars 64 working right for ages now. My best results so far came from 1964 but even then there were major issues with sprites on the map multiplying and slowdown on the menus and battle sequences. Can anyone recommend a setup that works better?

You can try using Glide64+eVoodoo. I'm not saying I know it's compatible, just that Glide64 has pretty good compatibility, and there's a good chance that you haven't tried it.

This works good for me:

Emulator: 1964
Video Plugin: Rice's Daedalus 4.5.0
Audio: (I use Azimer's 0.40 Beta 2 but it probably doesn't matter)

Rice's Daedalus 4.50 Configuration:
Render: OpenGL
Force Texture: Force Linear Filter
Normal Combiner: [ON]
Everything else default.

You need Normal Combiner on to see the opening intro, the map titles and some in-map effects, but you need to turn it off to get in-battle effect transparencies. (Lacking of battle transparencies isn't too bad if you don't want to continually toggle the option though.)

You could also try Rice's newer 4.6.0 Daedalus Plugin but that one has bad polygon glitches with the game.
