I'd like to introduce a new site that me and some other staff of Emulation64 has worked on recently - <a href=http://www.stylefone.com>www.stylefone.com</a>.

The site is one of the largest phone sites with 100% free content. All content is downloadable via WAP.

Our aim is simple, to give you the best sounds, software and graphics for your mobile phone. We aim to be simple but most importantly we aim to make sure all our content is quality.

The site currently has a database of more than 3000 downloads, and over <a href=http://www.stylefone.com/phonesindex.php>50 supported phones</a>, numbers that are constantly growing as new phones appear on the market, and as the team have time to add more downloads.

Well I can tell you some stats. 1400+ visitors the first day, and the site is being advertised on Google Adwords as well as the Emulation64 network (banners).

Love the look of the site, I've registered I think the girlfriend will be very interested, seeing as there is so much stuff for her T610 on there.

Also it should be noted that registered members can also add content to the site.

Got to admit I was a little disappointed at first, I misread the websites name and thought it was about that great little instrument 'The Stylophone

Well, I've registered. Sadly my phone isn't supported, I'll keep checking for when the Samsung x426 is supported.

It's supported, we've only added Sony Ericsson and Nokia phones so far though. What qualifies for being supported? The phone must have:

- Color display
- Polyphonic ringtones
- WAP (yes, I know the Nokia 2600 doesn't have WAP, might delete it)

Those are basically the criterias, plus we only add phones that are listed on the manufacturer's website as a current phone, older models that fill the criterias above aren't added.

It may be supported. If it supports midi files and its screen is 128*128 big.

If your phone doesn't appear in the "Supported Phones" section, it dosn't necessarily mean that you can't download stuff from the site. Try downloading content from the WAP site, if your phone supports midi sounds it should work.

September 28:

* 5282 unique visitors

September 29:

* 5183 unique visitors

It looks nice and sounds like a great idea... Unfortunatly I hate mobile phones, actually.. I hate all phones , but i'll be sure to tell my brother (he's nuts about phones...)

I know it's a bad idea to dig up old threads, but stylefone.com hasn't been working for a long time and its forums are inaccessible. The WAP page http://www.stylefone.com doesn't work.
From what I know, other sites work and it didn't work on another, old phone I had either, so I would say the fault lies in the WAP.
Is this fixable or is there something else? Stylefone is a great site.
